The US National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) public data archive is a searchable index of datasets created for different NBER researchers over the years. The full index contains 233 datasets, with topics including US healthcare costs, transportation data, population surveys, drug codes, import and export data, births and deaths. A subset of these datasets directly relevant to innovation research is curated below, along with links to topical searches. Unless otherwise specified, these datasets are maintained by the NBER.
